Cleaning and Maintenance of Granular Ice Machines

1. Granular ice machine Daily Basic Cleaning

Power-off procedure: Always unplug the power supply before cleaning to ensure safety and prevent electric shock or equipment short circuits.  

Cleaning the Body Shell and Ice Storage Compartment: Wipe the body shell and ice storage area with a soft cloth using a neutral detergent (such as dishwashing liquid), avoiding the use of acidic or corrosive cleaners.

Drainage system cleaning: Regularly inspect drainage holes for blockages, remove residual ice chips or debris with a soft brush to prevent bacterial growth.  

2. Deep Cleaning: Remove the detachable filter screen, rinse it thoroughly with clean water, and use a soft-bristle brush to clean the dust from the condenser fins

3. Maintenance and Care: Clean the condenser fins promptly to ensure heat dissipation efficiency. Increase cleaning frequency in humid environments to prevent mold accumulation.  

IV. Long-term Disposal Treatment

Complete drainage: Empty the water tank and remove water accumulation from pipes to prevent residual water from freezing and damaging the pipelines.

Dust protection: Cover the machine with a dust cover for dust protection.  

Precautions: Avoid using wire wool or hard tools for scrubbing to prevent damage to the stainless steel surface.  

By following the above steps, the lifespan of the nugget ice machine can be extended, and ice production hygiene can be ensured.
