Difference between Air cooling flake ice machine and water cooling flake ice machine

1、 Air cooled condenser is a type of condenser where the refrigerant passes through a long tube (usually coiled into a solenoid) to dissipate heat into the surrounding air. Copper tubes have strong thermal conductivity and are commonly used for transporting steam. To improve the efficiency of the condenser, heat dissipation fins with excellent thermal conductivity are often attached to the pipes, increasing the heat dissipation area to accelerate heat dissipation, and using fans to accelerate air convection and remove heat.

2、 A water-cooled condenser consists of a connecting pipe inlet on the cylinder, which flows through various baffle channels in a meandering manner to the outlet of the connecting pipe. The cooling medium adopts a dual pass flow, that is, the cooling medium enters half of the cooling pipes through the inlet and the water distribution cover, and then flows into the other half of the cooling pipes through the return cover and enters the water distribution cover and outlet pipe on the other side. In the process of dual tube flow, the cold medium absorbs the waste heat released by the heat medium and discharges it through the outlet to maintain the rated working temperature of the working medium.

The advantages of water cooling and air cooling:

(2) Easy to install and use, no need for other supporting equipment, just connect the power supply to put it into operation;

(3) Not polluting the environment;

(4) Suitable for areas with severe water shortage or scarce water supply.

Advantages of water-cooled condenser:

(1) Reduce the condensation temperature of the refrigeration unit and improve refrigeration efficiency;

(2) The initial investment cost is lower than that of air cooling and evaporative cooling;

(3) Good cooling effect, suitable for medium and large refrigeration systems.
