The reduction in ice output from flake ice machine may be caused by many reasons. Here are some common problems and corresponding solutions:
Water temperature is too high: If the inlet water temperature is too high, the ice making efficiency will be reduced. Make sure that the water source temperature
is within the recommended range of the equipment, generally not exceeding 21°C
Water quality problem: High water hardness or a large amount of impurities will affect the ice making process, which may cause poor ice formation or blockage
inside the machine. Check and clean the filter, and install or replace water treatment equipment if necessary.
Evaporator scaling or dirty blockage: After long-term use, scale or stains may accumulate on the surface of the evaporator, affecting the heat exchange efficiency.
Clean the evaporator regularly and perform maintenance according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Insufficient or leaking refrigerant: Refrigerant is the key to ice making. Insufficient or leaking refrigerant will result in poor refrigeration effect. This requires
professionals to check and replenish refrigerant.
Low efficiency of compressor: The compressor is the heart of the refrigeration system, and any failure may affect the ice making efficiency. Check whether the
compressor is working properly, listen for any abnormal sounds, and ask professional maintenance personnel to check and repair if necessary.
Insufficient circulating water flow: Make sure the water supply pump is working properly and the water flow is unobstructed. Check and clean all water pipes,
including water inlet and outlet pipes, to ensure that there are no blockages
Improper control settings: Check the control panel settings of the equipment to ensure that the ice making time and output are set correctly and there are no
setting problems caused by misoperation.
Excessive ambient temperature: Excessive temperature in the environment where the machine is located will also affect its working efficiency. Try to keep the
temperature of the space where the equipment is located within a suitable range and ensure good ventilation conditions.
If the above measures cannot solve the problem, it is recommended to contact a professional after-sales service or maintenance engineer for in-depth inspection
and repair. Never disassemble important components by yourself to avoid causing greater damage or safety issues.
